Our story
Why The Quran Learners Was Started
The Quran Learners began with a simple frustration shared by many Muslim parents: finding a trustworthy, qualified Quran teacher who could fit around a busy family life. Local mosques have limited timings, in-person tutors are expensive and inconsistent, and group classes leave quiet children behind. Parents in the USA, Canada, the UK and Australia wanted something different — real one-on-one attention from a vetted teacher, at a time that works for their school and work schedule, without having to drive anywhere.
So we built it. We brought together qualified male and female teachers who recite beautifully, teach patiently and report progress honestly. Every student is matched with one dedicated teacher, follows a plan built for their level, and begins with a free trial lesson so parents can judge the quality for themselves — before any commitment. That is the problem we set out to solve: making serious Quran learning accessible, personal and dependable for every family, wherever they are.

Every student is matched with a qualified Quran teacher and follows a plan built around their level, age and goals — whether that is starting Noorani Qaida, improving Tajweed, or memorising the Quran. Our teaching standards
How Our Teachers Are Vetted & Qualified
Before a teacher takes a single class with us, they are assessed against the standards below — recitation, Tajweed, teaching ability with children, and documented qualifications.
Quran Certification
Teachers are certified in Quran recitation, and their recitation and Tajweed are assessed by a senior teacher before they are given a single student.
Teaching Qualification
Beyond recitation, every teacher is assessed on how clearly they explain rules to a child rather than a scholar, and on teaching one-on-one online.
Identity & Reference Checks
We verify qualification documents, teaching references and identity before a teacher joins. Parents are welcome to observe any lesson at any time.
Ongoing Monitoring
Student progress, attendance and parent feedback are reviewed regularly, and we reassign a teacher whenever a family feels the match is not right.
Teacher preference & safety
- You can request a female teacher for sisters or young girls, subject to availability.
- A parent or guardian may observe any lesson at any time.
- You meet your teacher in a free trial lesson before committing to a plan.
- If the match is not right, we will arrange a different teacher.
