Free Trial Quran Class for New Muslims in Calgary

Free 30-minute one-to-one trial lesson — no card, no obligation.

Your free trial includes a full 30-minute one-to-one lesson with a qualified teacher, a level assessment, and a suggested plan. No card details, no obligation to continue.

Why Calgary families start with a free lesson

A free new muslims trial class in Calgary takes about 30 minutes. You will know within one lesson whether the teacher is patient, clear and worth continuing with.

Most enquiries from Calgary describe the same thing: families in the north east where a −25°C evening makes leaving the house for class unrealistic. A private online lesson is scheduled around that rather than in spite of it.

Nothing is assumed about background knowledge, and no question is treated as one you should already know the answer to. Teachers are used to teaching adults who reverted recently.

Lessons are taught by qualified Quran teachers over video, in English, with Arabic pronunciation modelled from the letter up. Female teachers are available on request.

We do not operate a campus in Calgary. Everything is taught online one-to-one, which is why availability does not depend on where in the city you live.

What makes the class different

Class times in Mountain Time (MT)

Your lesson is fixed to Mountain Time (MT) — we handle the teacher's side of the clock, including daylight-saving shifts, so the Calgary time never moves. Weekday evenings and weekend mornings, with slots held through the winter timetable. See monthly plans for what happens after the trial.

What Calgary Families Say

Feedback from students and parents about one-to-one lessons with our teachers.

  • “We started with the Arabic letters and sounds, and my daughter was reading short words confidently within a few months of one-to-one classes.”
    Salman N.Calgary · Noorani Qaida
  • “My teacher corrects me while I recite, rule by rule, so pronunciation habits get fixed straight away instead of sticking around for years.”
    Zainab N.Calgary · Tajweed
  • “Keeping the same weekly slot and the same teacher has made memorisation manageable, and revision in every lesson means earlier surahs stay strong.”
    Bilal N.Calgary · Hifz Program

I reverted recently — what should I learn first?
Usually the recitation of salah, said correctly, alongside the Arabic letters. The teacher will suggest an order in the trial based on where you are now.
Is the trial class in Calgary really free?
Yes. The first lesson is free, no card details are taken, and there is no automatic enrolment afterwards. You decide once you have seen the class.
How do I book?
Send us your details through the form on this page or message us on WhatsApp. We reply with two or three available slots and confirm one with you.

Mountain Time (MT). You give us the times that work on your own clock and we match a teacher to them, including any daylight-saving changes.
What do we need for the class?
A phone, tablet or laptop, a reasonable internet connection and a copy of the Quran or Qaida. Nothing else needs to be bought or installed beyond a video app.
What does it cost after the free trial in Canada?
Plans start at CAD $55/month with sibling discounts. There is no contract and you can stop at the end of any month.
