Free Trial Quran Class for Adults in San Diego
Free 30-minute one-to-one trial lesson — no card, no obligation.
Your free trial includes a full 30-minute one-to-one lesson with a qualified teacher, a level assessment, and a suggested plan. No card details, no obligation to continue.
Why San Diego families start with a free lesson
Before any commitment, San Diego students take one free adults lesson with a qualified teacher — recitation heard, level assessed, next steps explained in plain terms.
Most enquiries from San Diego describe the same thing: families around City Heights and El Cajon, including many with East African roots, fitting study around shift work. A private online lesson is scheduled around that rather than in spite of it.
Plenty of adults can pray and recite from memory but were never taught to read the script properly. That is a normal starting point, not an embarrassing one, and a private lesson means nobody else hears the first attempts.
Teachers hold formal Quranic qualifications, teach in clear English and are experienced with students who do not speak Arabic at home. Male and female teachers are both available.
We do not operate a campus in San Diego. Everything is taught online one-to-one, which is why availability does not depend on where in the city you live.
What makes the class different
- Adult-appropriate, judgement-free teachingNo children's workbooks and no group recitation. Your teacher starts from an honest assessment of your reading and builds from there at an adult pace.
- Truly one-to-oneOne teacher, one student, the whole lesson. Mistakes are corrected as they happen instead of going unnoticed in a group of twenty.
- No payment details for the trialThe trial class is free and requires no card, no deposit and no subscription. If you do not continue, nothing happens.
- A slot you choosePick the day and time that fits your week. If something clashes later, we move the lesson instead of writing it off.

What San Diego Families Say
Feedback from students and parents about one-to-one lessons with our teachers.
“We started with the Arabic letters and sounds, and my daughter was reading short words confidently within a few months of one-to-one classes.”
Zainab H.San Diego · Noorani Qaida “My teacher corrects me while I recite, rule by rule, so pronunciation habits get fixed straight away instead of sticking around for years.”
Bilal H.San Diego · Tajweed “Keeping the same weekly slot and the same teacher has made memorisation manageable, and revision in every lesson means earlier surahs stay strong.”

Questions before you book
- I am an adult who can barely read Arabic. Is that a problem?
- Not at all — a large share of our adult students begin at the letters. The lesson is private, so there is no group to keep up with and no audience for the early mistakes.
- Is the trial class in San Diego really free?
- Yes. The first lesson is free, no card details are taken, and there is no automatic enrolment afterwards. You decide once you have seen the class.
- How do I book?
- Send us your details through the form on this page or message us on WhatsApp. We reply with two or three available slots and confirm one with you.
- What time zone are San Diego lessons scheduled in?
- Pacific Time (PT). You give us the times that work on your own clock and we match a teacher to them, including any daylight-saving changes.
- What do we need for the class?
- A phone, tablet or laptop, a reasonable internet connection and a copy of the Quran or Qaida. Nothing else needs to be bought or installed beyond a video app.
- What does it cost after the free trial in USA?
- Plans start at $40/month in US dollars, with sibling discounts. There is no contract and you can stop at the end of any month.
