The three daily parts
- Sabaq — the new portion, kept small enough to be perfect
- Sabqi — recent memorisation, revised daily for a few weeks
- Manzil — older memorisation, cycled on a fixed rotation
Start smaller than you think
Two or three lines a day, held perfectly, outperforms half a page that collapses within a month. Speed can increase later once revision is stable.
Fitting it into a school week
Most families do better with a short daily class and a fixed home practice slot at the same time each day. Weekends are used for consolidation rather than new material.
Teachers can schedule lessons in your US time zone, so the routine stays consistent through the school year.
Track it
Keep a simple log of the new portion and the revision cycle. Progress you can see is the strongest motivation for a child, and it lets parents and teacher spot problems early.
