What Noorani Qaida covers
Noorani Qaida is a structured primer: Arabic letters in isolation, letters joined together, vowels, sukoon, shaddah, madd and basic reading rules. It builds decoding ability, so a student can read any Arabic word correctly even if they do not understand its meaning.
What Nazra (Quran reading) covers
Nazra assumes decoding is already in place. The lesson is spent reading from the Quran itself while the teacher corrects pronunciation, pace and rules, and sets a daily reading target.

Can you move faster than the book?
Yes. A student who already knows the letters does not repeat the whole primer; the teacher jumps to the weak sections. That is one advantage of private lessons over a fixed group curriculum.
